We started xeyex in January 2012, with the sole
focus of making a true difference to independent opticians. Our first office was a kitchen dining table and the
initial 18 months or so was spent developing the product on more or less a full time basis.
Today, it's grown up a little, we're on our 4th office and we have a team spreading over Customer,
Development and Business operations. We handle 10million+ data transactions every day and more than 30,000 a minute during peak hours
but we've not lost our early focus.
At the core of everything we do is the customer, the customer drives our business and our product and
I know our customers would testify to our unwavering commitment to deliver only the best solution. From the beginning
we've made it our mission to deliver great service and a great product with a simple, straightforward approach.
We have five strong company values and we live by them Open, Honest & Transparent, Doing the Right Thing,
Trust & Respect, Listen & Improve and Fun & Focussed.
Our product is as good as it is because of our customers, we listen and implement feedback, and there's never a month where we don't enhance your experience based
on something that our users have asked for or suggested.
Back in 2014 when we finally came to market, we set ourselves 2 main goals, the first was being a recognised brand in the UK market within 3 years, our second goal was to finish
the year 2020 being one of the top 5 suppliers of practice software in the UK. Today with more than 330 sites across the UK we think we've ticked those
boxes, and the next phase of our growth continues.
